Bhagat Singh Speech in Kannada

He was born on 28 September 1907 in the Sandhu Jat family of Punjab. Born into a family of freedom fighters, his father Sardar Kishan Singh and uncle Sardar Ajit Singh were fully involved in India's freedom struggle.

Born and raised in such an environment, he was always motivated to drive the British out of India. It was all in his blood. He left school at the age of 13 to boycott all government-funded institutions in support of Mahatma Gandhi.

He then attended the National College of Lahore, where he learned about the European Revolution, which inspired him immensely. The Jallian Walabag massacre in 1919 took him to Amritsar, where he kissed the blood of the Holy Land. By 1925 he had established the Nauzwan Bharat Sabha for national movements. He later joined the Hindustan Republican Association and came in contact with other Indian revolutionaries. He began writing revolutionary articles against the British.

All his work attracted the attention of the British. They arrested him in 1927. When the freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai was killed by the British in 1928, his life deteriorated.

To get his revenge, Bhagat Singh shot an officer, Deputy Inspector General Scott, for which India lost a very active freedom fighter. Assuming he was Scott, he killed another officer. He then fled from Lahore to Kolkata and thence to Agra and set up a bomb factory.

He and his allies bombed the Central Assembly in opposition to the trade dispute bill. He surrendered, was arrested by police and admitted to being involved in the incident.

He spent 116 days in jail to fight the inhumane treatment of his fellow inmates. He was later hanged on March 23, 1931 at the age of 23. In this age he laughed before surrendering to the bell. Freedom fighters who did not think about life continued to serve the country with smiles until their last breath.

Bhagat Singh was a true patriot, he was an unrivaled revolutionary from an early age. As a child he dreamed of growing guns in the fields to fight the British.

They were not afraid of their lives and were always ready to do anything for their homeland. His death sparked a wave of patriotism across the country. He has always been regarded as a martyr for the country, the brave son of India.
